I say get it lower than invoice because it's used. Since it's a demo car you don't know if it's abused or not. BUt most likely it is.

Why even bother with an SI? just stay with the EX..if its a demo then yes most likely they abused the hell out of it and i recommend that you shouldnt get one. Keep the ex and trade it or sell it for something later on.

^+1 you will lose money in this deal, just pay it off and then use the Ex as a down payment for a better car in the future

enjoy the Ex and then when the next gen Si comes out or you can upgrade to something better, 10k+down is pretty good down payment.

Is this demo at the dealership that you bought the EX at? If not maybe go there and see. They might cut you a SMALL break as you are a repeat customer.

That's a joke, right? Both the R18 and K20 are very efficient engines with very little drivetrain loss. If anything they're both underrated. The R18 dynos are showing roughly around 120 to the wheels. The K20Z3 is showing results of high 170s to 180s.

That doesn't translate to a 30 hp difference, whether it's to the wheels or crank. We know you hate the 8th generation Civic, but stop spewing misinformation.

Demos car are not always abused. I cant say this for every dealership, but when I worked for a Dodge dealership in the bodyshop, my boss had demos just for getting to work and for us running to get coffees.

No, it's from a different dealership. I think I might've made the right decision -- financially in trying to continue to hold off! The dealer I got my EX demo from (which had no issues with! ) is a good place, I'll probably hold off on the purchase then order a 9th gen or something from them: I'd rather give a good dealership my business than one I'm not sure of and seems shady.

I gotta keep telling myself that just because I'm not pressed for cash doesn't mean I shouldn't pay down debt instead of accruing more!

I think I need to PM you some more. My infatuation with the Si didn't really enable me to think properly and help you the best I could to keep you from getting the Si. LOL

Look around some you can get a used Si much lower.
I bought mine with 2400 miles on it used for 18,500
Had HFP wheels, oem fog lights, and sunroof visor, and splash guards already on it.
