30K a year is pretty dam good considering ur ony 20 years old. I dont know how much everyone else is making to say taht 30k is barely liveable, especially if they're in the early 20's. But anyways, i TOO had a spider in my old car, saw it once while driving, then kinda forgot about it for like 2 days. then one day i was backing out and it was really bright out, and i looked back to back out, and i see this complete web in my back seat with the lil bugger dead smack in the middle......he died. the end.

The one insect that freaks me out completely are horse flies.

I HATE those things so much. They're huge, fast, maneuverable, and will attack you as soon as you're spotted. They have mandibles that just cut into you so they can draw blood. They do it so fast you don't have time to even kill it.

I've been on the receiving end of a bite from those and a wasp. I can tell you right now that a horse fly is about 10 times more painful. =(

If one of these flew into my car I would just slam into a brick wall at 70mph so I can kill it.

I got in my car one morning and was surprised to see a spider web spanning from my steering wheel to the instrument panel. And there's always webs on my windows, windshield wipers, side mirrors, and wheels. No matter how many times I wipe them off, they're back the next day. Hate those little buggers!

well since you bumped up the thread i might as well share my spider story. I was sitting on the toilet at the UCI Science library just minding my own business reading the times when BAM! A spider falls right onto the newspaper i was reading! In my moment of losing control of myself i screamed like a little girl and swung my arms in the air (since i couldn't just get up and run away). The spider disappeared in the chaos and i ended up wiping as fast i could and getting the hell out of there. The rest of the day i swear i felt spiders all over me, but I'm never dropping a load in that library ever again.

By the way for you guys who are getting them in your cars: Are you leaving the windows "cracked" open just a tiny bit when you park so it doesn't get so hot? Or to get rid of that Roscoe's chicken and waffles smell from the night before? They can slip in those tiny cracks!

I had my windows cracked while I was at work.. Well, I get in my car to go home and jump on the freeway. As I'm getting on the onramp, I see this grasshopper outside my windshield, and I'm thinking "Man, that thing can hang on pretty damn well.." Well, right as I think that, the ****** takes flight and I realize he's INSIDE my car. So this fool is flying around running into the windows, doors, ME, freaking everywhere. Then he just decides to land on my thigh. So, I'm staring down at this thing going like 65 down the freeway hoping he doesn't decide to take off into my face. Not to mention I just don't like bugs anyways... So I get off the next exit.. pull off into a shopping center and proceed to get out very slowly. As soon as I'm out, I start flailing around like a madman to get that ****** off me and he flies off. Man I hate bugs!

Yea those freaking things like to dangle from the roof at the worst of times. Like most of you, I hate spiders with a passion.... so when I saw some nasty looking furry dude staring right back at me while driving I spazed out and tried to swat it away. Well it flew on top of my radio, and much to my happiness, slowly crawled over the slot loading cd outlet.... then like a true man.. I rammed a CD into the player and watched him disappear into the CD abyss. Not a day goes by that I don't wonder if he's in there plotting revenge. I can only hope he died that day!
