New or used? If it's new off the lot you aren't gonna do any better.

Deffinately a good deal if its brand new. Make sure you get out about ~21k. I would do it like I said if it was new. I was quoted 23K before taxes on a brand new Si.

Thanks guys.

He's asking $19,900 before tax. Then a $55 doc fee, $1750 tax, and $195 license fee. So, the total is coming to $21,902 as per him.. But if you add them up, the total is less. So, What's wrong here??
Confused................Also, he said something about a tire recycle fee of $8.75---->wtf is that???
??? Help

Tell him you have a loan for 21k, and thats all your willing to pay. Im sure he will go for it. Be sure not to sign any document letting them run your credit. Just be firm with them, and you can walk out with the car at 21k.

I think dealer have to pay the tire recycling fee because they are technically selling you tires.

The total adds up man I got 21900. Go get that car. Taxes are 8.8% is that right for you. If so it's a square deal.

My bad, I guess I was wrong in my tax rate, lol.
I'll be trading in my 06 ex coupe with 1,600 miles auto transmission for it and paying the difference....Should I try and get it lower to 21k?

Are you for real? Hell yeah. Get it as low as you can. Try what glustic suggested but have the piece of mind that you aren't getting ripped off as it is.

I see. But the car is already all paid off...SHould I just say it anyways? This was from the internet fleet manager. Secondly, do you guys think that the price difference in trade in subtracted from the new car after taxes will be less than $5k? That's my budget, lol.
HELP.........thnx for the help, much appreciated

It's gonna be a lot of work but it can be done. You can negotiate the price of the trade first. Get that price out of the way cause that's where they want to make their money. Looks like you should take this with you. It's worth about 17995. If they say it isn't show them the KBB value and say yes it is. once that is out of the way you can start negotiating the price on the SI. He has already given you a fantastic price but if you want to try and low ball him just say 20500 out the door. He will probably come back with 21200 or something. He might just come back with hell no! Either way you still got a good deal.

Trade in value:

tire recycling fee- that's total or per tire? I think I paid that when I replaced my tires, but that's for my old tires. I think he is full of sh#$.
