Want to trade my 07 LX for an 07 EX?

How much would I lose and is it worth it? Well I know it's not worth it but I hate the rear drums, it's bugging me that much. I have less than 500 miles on my current LX.

The only one who can tell you if it's worth it or not is yourself. I love my EX. But the LX is a nice Civic too. What about a used 2006 Civic EX? You might be able to break even in that situation.

Is there any big change from 06 and 07 other than changing the recall stuff?

to be honest with you .. its not worth the trade LOSS .. you will easily lose 2000+ on the trade in .. the dealership is out to make money ... and being that your car is now considered used ... they cant sell it for new .. so they are going to lowball you

the only differences in the EX and LX that are worth nothing .. sunroof ... rims .. steering wheel audio controls .. rear discs ... better stereo if you are talking bout a coupe .. there are a few others but those are the main ones

IMO .. losing that much for REAR discs is stupid ....

I have a 07 LX and i honestly dont care that it has rear drums .. im rolling ep3 Type R rims with rear drums LOL

just get a rim thats not going to make it obvious that you have rear drums

You only live once, plus its only money :P

But i wouldn't personally trade in my car for an EX since your LX is like brand new that is going to be a big hit. You probably can just put in rear disc for less money.

He beat me to it...

Just replace the drums with disc brakes.

The search button is a good thing.
Convert LX from drums to rear discs

I was going to post my car for sale in the sale section but, seem not to be able to do it. Anyhow, I also wish to upgrade from Ex to Si. I have a Taffy White 2007 non-nav Ex Sedan with 1200 miles on it. I bought it a month ago. PM me if you are interested, I am from the Fresno CA area. Pictures and price are on Craigslist. Although for a fellow member, I will lower the price if you are serious.

Precisely that's why I opted to just trade it in instead because it will cost me a decent amount of money because I'm not mechanically inclined and don't have any tools, on top of that doing the mod will be costly but won't increase the value of my car because the feature can already be found on the EX and SI model. But yeah after much thinking, thanks to everyone who posted for talking some sense into me. I will take at least a $3K-4K hit on the value of the car ontop of the $2K difference for the model, it's just not a good idea at all especially since it's just a trim upgrade.

It sounds fair but I still need a way to get rid of my old car without too much hassle and without too value lost from my car. Let me know what your asking price is I may consider.

It just bugs me going out everyday and seeing those things, they're not even rusty yet but they will be eventually.
