SI stands for Shat myself Instantly...

well yesterday i went to rick case honda to drive an accord coupe v6 mt, wasn't all to impressed, but was fun. i then drove a four door si, and OH MY GOD, not what i expected!! took off like a rocket right outta the hole. From my past experiences of driving EG SiR convers, and an EK si, THIS blew them outta the water. that K series made a serious mark in si history (cant say much about EP cuz i never drove one). right out of the hole, from first into second and right into third, i didnt even realize im already doin bout 60. i was much more pleased than i was in the accord, because the accords a 6, the civics a higher revving k powered beast , plus it looks better as well. but anyways, as stated in my profile, im rockin a 97 gti (2.slow ) but im tradin it in after my payments are done, not to mention it has under 60k miles. and out will come a beautiful black four door si. 2 months...watch out...

Good to know you had a good first impression of the Si. I share the same feelings about the V6 Accord 6 MT vs. the Si. The Si has a better tuned suspension system and should be much more fun to corner around. My friend has a V6 MT and although it's fast in a straight line, it's a little sluggish around the corners.

you know, i used to think i was the only one who said that about the v6 coupe, but now i know that im not the only one who thinks so. when i drove the accord, it had the pep, but it felt like a boat almost. plus, not too many of the younger population around me have the accord coupes. not that im mainstream or nothin, but i just wanted somethin different, and the sedan is just a four door pocket rocket that i prefer the looks, performance, handling and convineince of the car, not to mention its about $10k less than accord. i enjoyed my 91 accord back in the day, and thought id try the younger brother, but the SI kid down the street is just so much cooler lol. Thats metaphor for you dropouts and meth junkies . but im just glad to say im a future owner of a new si.
