I would go LX, that is what I did, I am using the extra I would have paid for and EX to do really nice sound system, 18 in wheels, plus a few other upgrades. It just turned out better for me.
Ah ok thanks.

i also thought the ex came with....

four wheel disc brakes
350 watt stereo system
moon roof
stearing wheel controls
trunk pop
and one or two more things i believe.. i'm not sure..

i too was going to get the LX after i found out the dealership i went to didn't have any Si's on the lot so i looked at the LX and figured id save a good amount of money getting it. then i got in the EX and i liked it a little more.. if i wasn't going to fast i might as well have some creature comforts like moonroof. honestly i think you might be able to get the EX for cheaper if you start to talk with the salesman.. i did at least.. for 2k more i think its worth it when you think about it. even if you think you MIGHT want the moonroof and the safety of having 4 wheel disc brakes, get it.. its more of a hastle down the road if you say i should have gotten those things and want them installed now.. its too much a pain in the ass to get a moonroof installed and converting the brakes, just get them to begin with...
if you can afford them that is...

good luck with your decision, keep us posted

I'm glad I went with the EX over any of the other civic models. If the SI came in Royal Blue I would have considered that. But I love the moonroof, the bigger stock stereo and the look and performance of the rear disc brakes.
