test drove 07 si coupe and sedan today

went to sanford honda (north carolina). i got a buddy that works there he let me take out both the coupe and the sedan both of which had less than 5 miles on. ive got an 02 rsx-S and i must say i was impressed with both the coupe and sedan. im leaning more toward the coupe cause it looks alot sportier. i got a price of 22,430 otd for either without navi and no summer tires. i think i can get them to throw both in if i work it hard enough, my buddy just picked up an 07 si sedan for 22,500 otd with navi and summer tires in florida.

im loving the lsd and the car handles very well.

By sportier, do you mean the way it looks? The reviews that I have read say they handle and accel about the same.

If you can get $22.5K OTD for the Navi version, you did great!

OTD for $22.5k for navi and summer tires in AZ would mean you got the car for 4k under MSRP...not sure any dealer would do that ...even for God.

not from az, im in NC. anyways like i said in the first paragraph of this thread, my buddy in FLORIDA got an 07 si sedan with navi and summer tires for 22,500 otd. they had some kind of new years sale. im in the process of selling my 02 type S, so i can go back into the dealership with about 10 grand cash and try to get the same deal locally.

I love the coupe. I can't see why any real sports car fan would ever want to go with a sedan in the sport compact class!

i think the sedan is a great choice if you have kids and still want an si. also if your the one that usually drives and have more than 1 person in your car most of the time. the sedan handled pretty well, it had a little more body roll than the couple. nothing that was to bad though.

If you have patience and shop wisely, it is easy to get the 07 Civic Si for $22.5K 'OTD'. I live in the East Valley, AZ. The public invoice price is $19.9K. The 8.1% tax is $1.6K, fees are $.36K, $.4K over invoice and registration is another $.24K.

There are a lot of dealerships in AZ willing to sale the 07 Civic Si for $22.5K 'OTD'.

If you walk blindly in the dealership to look for the Si, you'll get rob and force to pay their over priced MSRP.

It might not be do-able for the 2007 Civic Si Sedan w/ nav in AZ. Their is no room for 8.1% of tax and fees.
