Thumbs up I put a deposit down too!

Hello all!

I just put a deposit down for a NEW 2007 Civic Coupe EX, Rally Red, Black Interior, M/T!!

Thinking of adding fog lights.

Anyone know if they do the add-ons before taxes or after taxes? (Is the tax included in the installed price?)

Raw cost of the car before anything: $17,295, how did I do?

I can't wait, hope I get the loan for the $18,700 w/ Taxes!!!
All without my trade in too...which should be a measly $2,500 lol!

-Joe-

I got the loan!

Probably could have done better, but I did get them to throw in auto dimming mirror, moon/ sun roof visor and split the cost of fog lights!!!

They needed to do a dealer swap and the car should be on their lot on Monday!!

I can't wait!

The price you got is very good.

A word of caution on the moonroof visor: My NBP came with a dealer installed visor, at 400 miles on the car I decided to remove it. The visor's rubber seal left wear marks in my paint. I need to get them buffed out, so make sure you really want that visor before having them put it on.

If someone is interested in buying a visor, I've got one for sale $50.00 shipped.

Thanks, my brother said the same thing, so I think I will have them remove it and have them keep it. It also comes with door gaurds, are they worth the stupid $40? Can they be removed too if I don't like them?

I think I will stick with the fogs and the auto dimming mirrror...I did't really like the idea of the visor in the first place.

It is all up to you, I got the EX because I am a cheap-o when it comes to the pump! The extra performance may have been worth it, but I will start out with the EX then work my way to the Si.

Those cheap plastic guards are retarded looking. Please don't add that crap to your nice car! :) Plus, as you can see above, it will screw up your car. Who wants to do that?

Ok, the sales consultant said that they were installed already, I wonder if I can have them remove them, being I didn't really want them in the first place. (They located the car, but had those accessories installed, so they gave them to me) I guess I have the right to ask if they can remove them right!?!!? I just will not sign the loan agreement and all the other crap until it is up to par...

None of those things are drilled or bolted to the car right? (Is it door edge or body side molding?)

Sorry for the questions that sound easy to some...I am new to Honda...

Thanks!

The moonroof visor does not have to be drilled, although the foglights have to be mounted onto the bumper (which requires cutting and drilling). It's good that you're getting OEM accessories, so they'll all be covered under your warranty.

Good job on the negotiation! Have fun with your Rallye Red!

Thanks, I had to have the black interior on the EX, but did not want NHBP or ASM as my current car is silver, so I settled for the Rally Red. It should shine nicely when clean!

Yeah I realize that the bumper holes and such drilling is required for the Fogs, but what about the moon roof visor, I hope it is just 3M tape like all the other car companies, and I hope that the door edge gaurd is like that snap on compression stuff, because I am going to request they remove them for me! I don't need my paint fading!

[color="Blue"]You might want to decline the sunroof visor, mud flap and door edge guard. It is very cheap to add it yourself, and it is very easy to install it. If you plan to remove the visor or the edge guard, please do not install it. The sunroof visor tends to leave mark after a while. The edge guard is medal piece, and it is painted to match your exterior color. It is not the stick plastic piece.

My car included all the above and I installed it myself!

Thanks much for the picture, that helped alot!!

I am not sure if it is installed on it or what, he never mentioned, he just mentioned that it came with them, then decided to give them to me at no cost, I have not seen the car yet!

Ok, the door edge gaurd is metal, no thank you Honda! Anywhere for water to get trapped and possibly cause rust is no good in my book. I am definately not feeling the moon roof visor. (You car is awesome, but the comment on the guards and visor is not in anyway directed toward your car)

I will accept Fogs and my Auto dimming mirror with compass and decline the visor and door gaurds.

Thanks again!

When I had my ASM 06 EX, I had the visor and mudgaurds. I felt that the silver needed to by offset with some black, so I left them on until I traded up to my Si. My NBP Si, needs nothing IMHO.

NBP is a nice color too.

If the visor and door gaurds are already installed by some chance if, I ask for them to be removed (I am not paying for them anyway) do you guys think they will honor my request without giving me lip and the run-a-round?! The dealer is closed Sunday's and Monday is supposed to be the delivery day. Maybe I will call when I get into work on Monday.

The Mud GUARDS and sunroof VISOR are dealership options. It'll be install by your dealership. It is better to stop them before they install it. The door edge required trim off the interior rubber seal of the door edge to fit it. If the guards are installed, your interior door edges will look funny without it.

Thanks again! I really hope they did not install anything yet...but I will ask first thing monday!

I still want the Fogs and Mirror installed though!

EDIT:

Driving down the road listening to the radio I heard a commercial advertising where I will be getting my car from. They were advertising a 4 day sale Thursday through Sunday (this dealer is usually closed Sundays) so I was like awwhh shit, whipped my car around and headed over there. Luckly my sales consultant was there, and to find out the options were installed. I now will be getting a car that I requested (Civic EX, MT, RR, Fogs and Mirror) with no other options.

My worries are over! No mud flaps, no door edge gaurds, no moon roof visor! Just what I originally wanted!!! I can't wait!

Thanks for all the helps guys/gals!!
