Top 10 Longest Wait Times for Si

Reply with how long you had to wait for your Si, from the day you put down your deposit, to the day you drove it off the lot.
I thought I waited pretty damn long, so I will start with myself as number one, but I have seen some long times on here too. I will update the list as the replies come in.
Rules
- only one dealer, so if you cancelled your order with one dealer and went to another, you can't use the time you waited with the first dealer. only deposit -> drive off.
- post time in weeks and days (see my example)
- Post what city you are from, and what year and color you got.
- Keep the posts simple, no bragging "I got mine faster" or other useless crap

otherwise, bring it!

1. -Deep- - 40 weeks, 5 days (!!) - Austin, TX - 2007 ASM Si Coupe w/ Navi
2. si_civic - 30 weeks - Kamloops, BC - 2007 TW Si Coupe
3. lovin_it06 - 29 weeks, 1 day - Greenbelt, MD - 2006 GG Si Coupe w/ Navi
4. Matt ~ - 26 weeks - Montreal, Canada - 2007 FBP Si Coupe
5. Storm - 22 weeks, 3 days - Princeton, NJ - 2006 FBP Si Coupe
6. doug piston - 20 weeks - Seattle, WA - 2006 ASM Si Coupe
7. Brooklynscat69 - 20 Weeks (5 Months) - Bay Shore, New York - 2006 RR Si Coupe w/ NAVI
8. NiD4SPD - 19 weeks, 5 days - Calgary, Canada - 2007 ASM Si Coupe
9. Popinjay - 19 weeks, 3 days - Atlanta, GA - 2007 FBP SI Coupe w/ Nav
10. Htuner34 - 18 weeks, 5 days - Little Rock, Arkansas - 2006 Fiji Blue Si Coupe

edit: the list keeps getting updated, so post if you can make the list!

adewan - 1 week for ASM 2006 SI, Belleville, Ontario (March 2006). I called all the honda dealers in ontario to find one, gave the deposit on phone using my VISA, drove to belleville the next day from toronto to fill out the paper work. picked it up in a week.

Went to the dealer, signed papers, and left with my car about 2 hours later. I'm guessing I won't wake it on the list.

Not sure if this counts:

Deposit, Sept. 18, 2005. Pick up, Dec 24, 2005. 13 weeks, 6 days. But the car was not released until December of 2005.

Probably less than 24 hours from start to finish, saw the car on the lot, was brand new, told them to hold it over night, this was at like 9 at night. Went in the next morning and signed papers, and bang, a new Car. Im off the list for sure lol. Scott from Winnipeg Manitoba

I'll count that, I knew there would be people that waited before the first car even came out, and that those would be long waits...

Hmmm, 20 weeks is not quite 5 months... you are only two days longer than me, was it EXACTLY 5 weeks or is that just an estimate? Haha, for the top spot it's gotta be accurate!

Alright I put my deposit down on a GG si w/navi on Dec. 05 left for the desert in jan.06 came back on May 31, 06. Car came in june 27th, 06. But it was worth that long long wait of 6.5 months. O by the way got rid of the wife in that period of time so now i can afford parts :)

Well, I wish I could be on this list, but the dealership I got mine from does not accept deposits, or I would have given them one. I started looking back in November of last year before they were released, and was the first person my sales guy called when one arrived. They finally got a color that I wanted March 17, so I went in and bought it that same day. I got a RR w/o Navi, I wanted one with Navi, but I looked at their incoming list and I couldn't wait another 2 months so I got it and haven't regretted it for a second.
