I am very, very impressed with the voice commands I can give and response is very audible as it automatically cuts into the front speakers and tweeters. It also controls all my audio (8 disc cd chgr in the trunk, PC card, FM/AM etc. XM is also tuned in (three month trial period right now). It is touch screen or voice switch on the steering wheel.

I had a Garmin 2720 that I gave to my son. No comparison. I shopped on line, and the closest in dash with steering wheel control (Pioneer) was 2700 + installation. The other reason, was her EX is ATM and she does not know how to drive stick nor wants to learn. She does't drink, and I do. When we go out to some unfamiliar places, I can just punch in "Go Home" before I pass out on the passenger seat!!:)
Ok, but you know you can find earlier models from reputable dealers like Crutchfield for much cheaper than $2700. I'm starting to get that you don't shop around often. lol j/k

Seriously though, I wouldn't bother looking at Pioneer. I hate their units. They're POS's after 6 months. That said, you can still purchase an OEM nav and have it installed by the dealer.

Only the D1 and D2 are garbage from what I know. MY D1 failed after like 8 months but my Z1 has never had any problems yet and I bought it back in January.
You should look into Gathers navigation if you can find anybody that carries it. It might be Japan only but I'm not totally sure cause I know somebody out in Cali has one.
Heres a pic of one of there units in a fit

Both of my D1's failed within 6 months. The first one before I pulled out of the parking lot after installation.... wtf....but the poor customer service turned me off of Pioneer completely.

You need to learn how to deal on cars. Find a trusted friend who knows how to show you the ropes. You should be getting at least $1000-2000 off every one of those cars except the SI.

Also try to sell your used cars yourself. But get a book on how to negotiate on cars. That $20 book will pay for itself 1000x over.

manhonda is the worst dealer ever for buying a car, they are a COMPLETE rip off. They lost my deal on an ASM Si over $300 dollars that they wouldnt budge on. Eff em, go to Balise in Springfield... they hook up the good deals and are a bunch of good guys, work with Rich.

I got my coupe through Avon Hoffman, nothing but good experiences from them so far, maybe only because my salesman was a recent graduate from CCSU and when copying my license he saw my student ID card... You could give them a try, not more than a 25 minute drive from Manchester Honda.
