i know what you mean, i'm in calgary alberta and its not any better...

it seems like our dealerships are totally clued out about everything...
btw, was the reflash only for the US models or everyone? cause if it was for us too, i asked a bunch of dealerships and they know nothing about it.

They're for our models as well. The dealerships that tend to know less are the ones that don't deal with problems I guess.

So why the $300cdn increase on the 07 Si's? My dealer was clueless as to why the increase happened and had no information about changes (but had information from Honda stating the $300 increase, go figure).

I mentioned that 07 Si's in the US were coming standard with VSA and he looked at me like I had smoked crack. He tried to find info on that but to no avail. I then had a choice, $300 cheaper ASM 06 Si that arrived in a week or pay $300 more and get a 07 Si in Nov. I picked the 07 for resale value (1 year newer) and now he's trying to source the color I want (TW! Current one I have a deposit on is GG and I'm unsure about that color).

Cryton, I put my name on the waiting list back in June for a TW Si. Getting mine built in Decemeber because the one being built NOW (my name is next on the list for this one) I cannot afford. DANGIT!

Well, I walked into the dealership after work last monday to deal on it. If I had gone in the moring (ie- skipped work) then I could have got a TW that's coming in at the same time as the GG.. :\

I found the 'Galaxy Grey' name to be misleading. It's more brown in the sunlight than 'grey' which annoys me. I think I'm just really picky about color as it's really the only thing you can't easily change about a car. I really don't know which color to choose otherwise tho. Really hoping they can source a TW. Gonna call tomorrow after work to see if they've had any luck!

I guess in my area, TW doesn't seem to be popular. The lot has over 7 brand new white ones, including an Si in the showroom (sold).

Good luck on that TW !

dbw? Sorry, unfamiliar with that term. What problems are you experiencing? I think it's like any other car tho - there's always going to be a few lemons.

Dealer is still looking for me. No leads on a TW yet. Can get a ASM (silver) or Figi Blue so far tho. I'm still really undecided about color but I'll go to the lot tonight and check what colors they have in, get an idea what they look like in person. The blue is hard to keep clean like black I've heard which would annoy me. I take good care of my cars but don't want to be cleaning it every 2 days just so it looks nice!

Dude, you're still having problems with that hesitation? I think that enables you to enforce the laws of the lemon. Lemon law the car. Fight for it in court or something.

That's strange how the dealer cannot find TW anything for you. There's three linedup (Si's) for our dealership. I'm just stoked I'm next in line... Seems noone can find Si's period let alone a TW!

Was that the only problem you had? A little 1st gear hesitation, so now all Hondas are pieces of crap?

Werd.

Sorry to say but if there really is a recession coming again like back in the 80's then houses aren't where the money is at either. In Calgary, AB most the houses on the market there are repo's and the pricing on them has dropped 10% in the past 2-3 months.
