Deal for an 06 SI GOOD or BAD?

I got the offer from the dealership at $22,500.. Haven't gotten the full details on what it comes with but based on just the regular thing with some minor add-ons thats a good deal right?

Cuz I went around dealerships around my area and have seen them being high as $29,600 w/navi and $27,800 w/o... I know its over the MSRP but right now it looks like a good deal. What do you guys think? Oh I'm also planning on getting it in Habanero Red Pearl. Post the amount you got your SI with the stuff it came with for an idea if I'm getting a good deal...

thanks ahead of time

I paid a little over 21 for mine with summer tires no navi.... If you're getting the basics I'd try for a better deal.... But, if you're happy and willing to pay go for it :)

Anything over MSRP is getting the screws put to you.

Honestly, while you're still at a loss, it could be much much worse. I say go for it. But find out what the tax, tag, reg. etc. fees are before signing that line. I'd pay a little more for the car if those were lower.

If you have bank.. pay it.. you can still work with his price..
I KNOW the msrp on the new ones are gonna be higher.. probably 1k$ or 500 higher..
But those prices are nuts.. but if they dont go down on you.. either search.. or something.. but it is the color you want.. so you might HAVE to pay it

I'll be paying 21500 fjb w/navi. God Bless employee discounts (and knowing an employee that will give it to me =D)

Why does it seem so many folks are unwilling to travel to save a few thousand dollars? How much is it worth to travel 4-6-8 hours to pick up the car and save $2K (or pay a few hundred to fly to do the same)? Really, there are more honda dealers than the ones nearest your home/city.

Thanks guys, also, what are ways to lower the deal? I'm relatively new to buying cars so some tips to get a price lower would help.. If I want to get the price lower from the dealer EVEN though he's already put off $4,000...

"Firmhonda" you got yourself an awesome deal right there buddy. Getting it with navi and its cheaper than the one I'm getting without it.. haha smooth bro. I would love to have it but I don't really need that navi right now.. I'll just get a garmin or something from Costco..

Will waiting another month lower the demand or increase it? Because thats the time table I'll probably be buying it in within.

yea.. I'm getting a kick ass deal but that is in no way otd cost. When the girl first agreed to give me her employee discount on it her manager tried to sell me a black si with full options (hfp kit, rims, a.s. floor mats, trunk tray, etc. etc. etc.) for $27000. I told her I just wanted fbp/navi and she said 500 under msrp with her discount . God Bless this woman.
