Assistance required,
How do you remove the rear bumper on a Sedan?
I know of two screws in each of the wheel wells, the two bolts on the back, what else? Thanks, *I've found the coupe diy, no sedan love for this that I have found* Doing this Sunday, so if no reply, I go at it and post pics when I get home. Thanks all who reply. |

Underneath your rear bumper there are two black clips that will need to be removed.
Then there are two allen key screws (when you open your trunk lid) that need to be removed. Third is the screws on eachside of your bumper there is a bout 4 on the left and right side of the bumper one attaches to the body of the car twards the end of the bumper and the other three hold on to the little inner fender trim. Once all those are removed the rest is clips.. It sounds like your taring your bumper but its coming off. Just be careful

Knew of the two allen key, an two on each side in the fender... thre are more? I will look again, many thanks. I've taken the front bumper off many many times, use to the clips 'tearing' sound, no worries there. (I'm careful with other peoples stuff, mine, it's all gut s n muscle, tear that thing off.. ) I Know the si sedan has a lot of screws, (4) I think the non Si has less, again, I'll double check. sweetness, +1 imaginary rep for both, and an extra rep for Angelsi06. ![]() |

Okay, I did it.
Easy as *rap. Two screws in each fender well. One up top (hemisphere phillips type screw) one on the rear side of the fender well, flat, flush mount phillips. Take those out, the two allen type bolts on either side of the trunk opening, the two clips on the bottom, and pull! Done like dinner. Thanks for the pointers. |
