Question regarding OEM Foglight Kit

guys i have a quick question here that i cant seem to search up in the threads...when i bought the OEM foglight kit..the harnesses...seemed to have some kind of white goey sealant in the connectors..i was wondering if this is used to protect the connectors while not being used? And If i were to install, do i try n remove the goey stuff first before inserting? or should i just plug it in WITH the goey stuff still in it?

thank you :]] ...mm thinkin about installin my oem kit today..i read the instructions over and over again, so far i have a visual of how things are goin to be....its quite easier than i imagined, but still im kind of nervous..hopefully when i get the bumper off, i'll be able to have a clearer visual...wish me luck ;]]

btw if anyone can shine some light, on the instructions on College Hills Honda...it says to remove the weatherstrip on the side too after removing the fuel/hood door thingy on the driver's side...is that really necessary to remove the weatherstrip?

Just loosen the fuel hood piece , get a buddy to help with this you need him to help read directions when your down under the console lookin at your wiring harness.

Any questions give me a shout.
