06 Honda Civic No Power From ACC Wire!

Hello.. i bought an 06 civic coupe ex last month and it came with an aftermarket in dash dvd/nav that completely sucks. So i went out and purchased the Eclipse AVN5510 but the weird thing is, when i hook it all up the same way the other was hooked up i get NO power but if i hook up the old HU the same way it powers right on. I purchased a multimeter and tested the yellow wire which has plenty of power but i get nothing on the red wire(ACC) Anyone ever have this problem? Seems weird one HU works fine but another one hooked up the same way doesnt. I can get it to work if u hook up the red/yellow to the yellow battery/memory wire but then i cant turn it off lol.. thanks for any help

maybe the eclipse unit is a lil different from the others. i dunno pix could help

For whatever reason i didnt even need the ACC wire. I wired the red wire from the unit to the orange wire of the harness and it worked, odd because orange is for illumination
