Exclamation Fog Help

Ok guys lets see if we can fix this,

I ordered Ebay fogs not long ago and they work great, Problem is the fog switch was not exact size of cutout and fugly orangeish color. So I tried modding is like someone, I forgot who, posted up here to change the color of the light.

Some how some way, I messed up the switch(ebay one) and its unusable. That resulted in my dash board lights not coming on at night when I turn on my lights (SUCKS). So I ordered the OEM switch and when I put it on, no fogs and still no dash board lights.

Has anybody else had this problem? Someone help please
Im not 100% sure but I think that the prongs on the switches are not placed the same location and maybe changing them around in the harness connector would fix it. Let me know if that could work, but then Id need to know which wire does what and which prong it belongs to.

Thanks

What car is it?

hondapartsdeals.com will sell you a replacement switch harness for like $9. You could probably order it at your local Honda dealership parts counter as well. Then you'd have an OEM switch too

Yea, I could do that but I like being able to have my fogs on with my parking lights and also keeping them on with my high beams

If none of the dash lights work, have you checked to make all the fuses are functional? It is possible that the aftermarket switch wasn't wired correctly, and blew a fuse.

sounds like a fuse, but to be sure go all through the do-it-yourself article from here... someone's TW civic, he did a great article with pics... helped me find my problem.
