A-pillar removal?
I've got a new audio install coming up and am needing to remove the a-pillar. Anyone have a picture of where the clips are located? I know to disconnect the battery and let the system discharge, and to hit the "Airbag" symbol on the pillar with a mallet... but where are the other clips that hold it in?
Thanks in advance. |

I remember seeing that in the install instructions for the auto dimming mirror. Check this out.

No need to hit it with a mallet. Just pop the clips on the A-Pillar stating at the bottom near the windshield and work your way up. The last clip that supposedly needs to be hit has a notch in the Pannel, just pull the A-Pillar down while bending it outward away from you. It will slide right out. Then you should be able to pop that PITA clip out AND still be able to reuse it.
