how to remove fender?

I know I can figure it out; but before I get into it, how hard is it to remove the front fender on a coupe?

Not hard at all. There are some DIYs that include the instructions on the forum.

the bolts all look pretty easy at first glance...I imagine you will have to heat up the undercoated part to separate it a little underneath

I did a search and could only find how to remove the bumper. I think I found every bolt but the lower one by the door.
Bolts on top in engine bay, one by headlight, one in front of mirror behind black cover.

Are you are talking about the aluminum piece under the bumper?

You need to unscrew the two screws in the wheel well. There are two more under the plastic cover also. You need to pop that cover off and then another two clips on the trim that is on either side of the engine bay. Remove the clips under the car too, I think there are ten clips and two larger 10MM screws. Then you pull real hard and it should pop off.
