Intermittent Wiper Stalk for EX?

Can someone confirm that this is the wiper stalk for the EX? I'm thinking about trying to install this on my car - not sure how involved it will be. The single-setting intermittent delay is TOO LONG!!!

That's not what mine looks like. I messed around on www.hondapartsdeals.com and couldn't find where the part is. It's so tricky. Is it Interior, Electrical, or what? Anyone else have any luck?

that looks like its on a hybrid or a csx, you can see the dial for the auto climate control behind the stalk. im interested to know if you can put that in though.

the same stalk can be found on the csx. you can use the ring dial to set the frequency for the wipe cycles. The int wipe is actually more involved with the car than just that ring dial. As you go faster, it wipes more frequently until it reaches Lo speed. Also, when you release the brake from a stop, the wipers will wipe one cycle regardless of the wipe frequency setting

Okay. I just want to say that this feature is bad ass. Once again, the CSX owns the Civic.

Ummm...guys, the Si's have this feature. When I have the intermittent setting fast and I come to a stop at a light the wipers slow down and when I start moving they speed up again.

It's under "Electrical/Exhaust/Heater/Fuel" & then 20 COMBINATION SWITCH. The pic is crap, & I did the LX & EX search - pic is the same, but part # is different. I was hoping to buy the EX part & install on my LX.

I'd like to know if there's a way to mod this as well. If it isn't too expensive, I'd love to do this. But would "speed sensing" INT work just by installing the stalk?

I thought the EX had the speed sensitive intermittent also. But, either way, i've read that its not possible to swap these (it has been discussed here before).

Do you have the link for this discussion - I couldn't find it.

Variable intermittent wiper upgrade

Hi there! I'm a newbie here from the Philippines. We only have the sedan body here with 4 trim levels: 1.8 V (M/T & A/T), 1.8 S (M/T & A/T), 2.0 S (M/T only) & 2.0 S-L (A/T only). I got a 1.8 S A/T.:) Over here, only the top-of-the-line 2.0 S-L comes with variable intermittent wipers.
I asked a Honda dealer if it was feasible to upgrade the single setting intermittent with a variable one. They said that aside from the wiper switch stalk, the cabin wire harness & fuse box might have to be replaced too, though they weren't that sure since they haven't done one.
