Do you go by miles or oil life reading for oil change?

My 07 Si has about 4400 miles now.I am thinking of letting the dealer do the change as the car wont go up on my Rhino Ramps.Anyway,the dealer said to bring it in at 15% on the oil life meter.Right now I am at 40%,and I realy don't think I should go past 5000 miles.What do you think?

I keep an eye on the life meter when it gets to about 40% I start to use the mileage. (so i guess i really go by mileage :)

I wait to it hits 20% every Time which is like every 5k miles for me i run Mobil 1 syn.
