figured out a way to budge it open easily...Set a lighter to it for three seconds heating up the side u wanna pull off then slowly grip it with a set of pliers and twist slowly...(broke one of my leds trying because i twisted fast)..then clean out the epoxy melted over the resistor. Then place the cap back on ( by then should be all twisted up but its ok)...should work..

Lesson learned:superbrightled bulbs are not great

vleds perhaps?

nice mine have stopped workin n i was gonna get new ones 2 they work during the day cuz theyre so hot they connect but at night they dont work lol

hmmm... mine are still working almost a 9 months later... no problems.. but i also bought mine on ebay for more than 2.50 a pop lol i got ripped i know but hey.. i guess im still getting it working lol (it was supposed to come with 3, or at least the bid made it sound like that lol)
if u guys have problems with the liscence plate leds, let me know, ill show u how to fix those (superbrightleds.com does not sell the 1W flanks like i have lol)

Well that was more simple than I thought haha. Was tempted to solder it to the connector, but it really doesn't seem necessary. I will let you know how it works over the next few days. Mine are ALWAYS on and off. Just the driver side one would go out more or less every day.
