I tried this several months ago. At this point there is no Honda/Acura switchblade key that will work. I am hoping that the new accords will have switchblade keys and will be of the same electronics that our civics are.

All the details can be found here, depending on your view preferences it may be on the second page of the thread
RDX flip key

Honda should make it keyless!!! Push button should be on all models.

it would be nice, but I doubt it will happen, I think Honda / Acura wants to keep that type of feature exclusive to their high end cars.

im still hoping that the 2008 accord will have Type 6 immobilizer and the switchblade keys like the RDX/MDX/TL-S does

that would be enough to make me happy

are you going to get it? It says it comes with a whole alarm system so you can by pass or disable the factory and use its like an after market alarm system right? Also they said something about you can open the factory keys and remove a coil looking and attach it to the metal part of the key (the switchblade one) so it would send a code to the factory system as the "right" key if you want to use the factory srecurity system. they offer a package for just the switchblade keys if you want to use the factory system for $50 i think.

I probably wont get it, its only a matter of time untill Honda/Acura come out with a car using the right electronics and a switchblade key and then il just get that.
