DIY dent removal

Someone posted this over @ emhonda.com.. Has anyone tried it? There was a response that said that it actually worked.

Could it be bad for the paint?

Me too, but my dealer only covers the doors with that package Maybe I'll go up to the shop and see if they'll cover it anyways.

I haven't tried it yet, but I'll let you know how it goes. I've been warned by a few people to be careful with the dry ice against the paint thing though.. it supposedly will blister pain if left on just a hair too long. .

I look forward to trying both methods as soon as the weather clears up here.

I tried the air duster. It worked for me, but i did it like 10 times, each time it took a little bit more of the dent away. Problem is mine is right above the wheel on the fender, right on the "line" if you know what i mean. It does work though, just dont breathe it in, i did and coughed for about 2 minutes straight. I also tried to push from inside the fender to help it out and got little frostbite blisters on my fingers. HAHAHA, I was ticked so then i jut washed and waxed my car.

Just take your car to a place that specializes in paintless dent/ding removal. You can also cruise the lots of car dealerships and find the guys working outside that do this. They always do side jobs for cash. My buddy charges $30 per ding.

It seems that it will work on large or small dings as long as there's not a crease(sp) in it. I'm going to try on a few dings myself.. some are bad some aren't. Today seems like a good day to do this too.
