Question iPod Music Link

Anyone here been able to get the official iPod Music link installed yet? I know Honda has the parts and shipped them on the third (called honda customer service to confirm), but I know my dealer in VA Bch has no clue.

I even found a deal about $35 cheaper directly through Honda... but the dealer is clueless on how to install it .

Some information in this thread:
http://forums.hondapartsdeals.com/vi....php?p=236#236

suggests that the MusicLink (as it currently exists) is a lot more cumbersome and...um..."intrusive" than I was hoping. I wanted one, but based on this info, I'm thinking I won't get it.

I had seriously wanted this thing earlier, but now that I see how big a pain in the arse it is, I am going to wait, hopefully for version 2.0!

You and me both. As a matter of fact, I went ahead and bought the PC card adaptor & a 2GB SD card, loaded a wad of Mp3s on it and am loving it. The way the card works is the way the Honda Music Link should work.

How did you install you PC card adaptor?

PS: Apologies for the silly question... I'm from Singapore and our version of Civic here does not come with the PC card option...
