1.6 vs 1.8

Anyone know if the intake manifold from a 1.6 sohc will fit the 1.8 sohc?
Is the 1.8 just a bored out and destroked 1.6 with i-vtec?

I have a supercharger from my old 2000 EX and I'm thinking about getting the 06' civic.

umm i think the 1.6 and the 1.8 in the new civics are compleatly diffrent motors. the intake manifold is plastic if im not wrong on the new motor (according to the honda 1.8 vid.)

Hey. thanks for the help. I was actually talking about the 2000 1.6 VTEC but it still answered my Q's. That variable length intake manifold screwed me.

I think only the Honda D series will work with the D16Y manifolds.
