Diy:fuel Pump Installation

remove the stuff at the trunk

remove the back seat out.

remove the bracket

remove the screws
and care full not pulling the connector on the top of the pump assembly.

disconnect the hoses.. and unscrew the top lid. its really really tight...

the pump will pop up so try to push it down when you take the assembly out.
also care full taking it out. you have to watch for long metal sensor that is hanging.

unclip connector on the pump... unclip the part the is holding the top of the assembly to get the pump out.. once you took the top off you can see the pump and unclip the part that is holding the pump.
put all the parts on the stock pump onto the aftermarket pump. the aftermarket pump won't fit on the stock palce.. (you will see it when your doing it.
what i did is, i cut the stock nozzle so i can place the aftermarket pump (walbro 255lph) . then put back the assembly.
run a bypass hose from the pump through the stock nozzle up top.

remove the black stock hose from the top that run on the stock regulator.

revers the disassemble for installation...

good luck.
