Awsome, I presonally don't like CAI cause we get a lot of big puddles when the snow melts. Good write up, I defintly want some prettyness under my hood.

hey dowNNshift,

did u have a hard time putting in the bolt in the back? next to the heat sheild? i'm having troubles sliding it so the holes line up.. did u have that problem?

I didn't use the rear bolt and it holds up fine.....

yea, mine is holding up as well.. i couldn't even get the filter end to budge.. so i was wondering if it's okay to just leave it.

Yeah it's fine as long as the other bracket is bolted...

On there website it says it's carb exempt but it doesn't come with a sticker on it..

The K&N is worth ever penny just installed it an I have no bad things to say about it

Hey Bro, great DIY, I did everything per instruction and everything clears except the back of the filter element (the rubber part) touches the metal brake line(I think that is what it is!), any ideas?
