www.grille-tech.com grill/mesh inserts

Anyone buy their 3 piece grill set for the 2 door? I remember seeing a car or two on here that had mesh, was wondering how the install was, instruction quality, etc.

Well they're made by grillcraft, which I heard was good. Unfortunately, no pics of the ACTUAL product yet, only pictures of the mesh itself....not on the fg. Kinda shady, I know.

But I really want the meeeesshhhh. And if they don't get it, i'll spam their phone line and send them anthrax in the mail.

Well, I DID receive the grill inserts from grillcraft. I was astounded at the firmness and quality.

The gloss black finish looks REALLY clean, almost like stock.

All the black stuff is shaving from cutting out the foglight inserts. Didn't clean it all off yet.

I was going to do a write-up for this, but it's REALLY straight forward, instructions are included, and if you can't use basic power tools and a screwdriver....no helping you there.

I say a great exterior mod for anyone looking to add a new look. (and more air for those of us with a CAI)

Can u cut out those horizontal slats in the lower center grille, or do those need to be in there to attach the mesh?

Yeah, the plastic center part you need to keep in place to attach the grill...

It's be REALLY hard to cut that thing out though. Honestly, you can't see the horizontal parts in person, it's only because I was up close with my camera.

I like the middle but the fog holes should have fog "lights" in it, or it runs the risk of rice-factor.

Well the fog "light" I cut out actually has a purpose, now more air gets to the intake.

I want to see the upper grill too, I'm curious to see what it would look like...

But I'm keeping mine with the JDM H

Which color would look better on FBP? Black or silver? Can't decide.
