HELP!! Trunk lights not working

So I installed new LED plate lights which turned out great. I had ordered an extra set so I figured I would just replace the trunk light. They worked at first but after pulling them in and out a couple times to dremel the LED to get better coverage, the trunk light does not work anymore. I've tried putting the old bulb back but it is no good. The bulbs are fine so I know it's not them. Did iI blow a fuse of some sort? Or I also noticed (forgot to take picture) that there is a little resistor I think? in the trunk light socket. I thought that was the problem so I just took a little wire and over it to see if I could get the charge to just go through the wire.... nothing works.

Any suggestions?

What happened was that as I was plugging in the new light into the trunk, I think my screwdriver (used to pry open the plastic) shorted the circuit and caused the fuse to blow out (fuse #22 under the hood). The whole time i couldnt find the blown fuse because I thought it was the one under the steering wheel.

I found out when I opened my door this morning and noticed no dome lights then ran to check for what fuse the dome light was. Turns out that the trunk light and the dome light use the same fuse (#22)

Light w/ Flash

No Flash

(and something extra)

The Liscense plate and trunk lights aren't really that blue, its more of a light blue to white color.

Blue CCFLs in the back are on the way

I just followed this DIY by CaliGuy

DIY-Interior illumination

Instead of using wire taps, I went to autozone and got a Mini Add-a-Circuit to tap fuse #14.
I also added a 4" tube for the console and used some mounting tape to mount everything. I intend on putting two more 12" tubes under the driver and passenger seats to get light to the back. Also I will splice the trunk light to add a 12" ccfl
