I'll try and get some soon. My camera is crappy, so nighttime pics might suck, but i'll try anyway.

Done!

Just wanted to bump this old thread... I too have done this mod to my 08 HCH, but I used the module from a 2007 Odyssey that had Navi.

That means my module:
- has working homelink
- has a microphone in it to support the Navi
- Has the interior illumination, which I changed to led to blue.

Here's the proper pinout of the green connector...

1 - blank same as Civic.

2 - blank same as Civic.

3 - thin gauge pink (mic signal +) - goes to black wire on microphone

4 - thin gauge blue (mic signal -) - goes to green wire on microphone

5 - white/ blue - On Odyssey, this is Homelink + power, on Civic this is Mic white wire. On my setup I re-routed this mic wire to pin 9. For the Homelink power, I tapped inot to the overhead console light.

6 - black (ground) Homelink -, not used on Civic, so Civic harness needs this additional wire - run it to ground

7 - red/black stripe - (illum) + not used on Civic, so Civic harness needs this additional wire. I ran this lead to a illum wire on another button in the dash so the LED would be switched.
8 - blank same as Civic.
9 - blank - This is the pin I re-routed the pin 5 microphone lead to.
10 -ambient light ground.

If you don't have Nav, ignore Pin 3,4 and 9 Just run 3 wires:
5 - tap off the overhead illum wire
7 - run wire down a-pillatr and tap off the illum + wire
6,10 - to any ground point.

Nice easy 30 minute mod...

I have 2 leftover homelink modules from my testing (both gray)... one with a microphone (with Nav) and one without a microphone (without Nav). $90 and $70 delivered if anyone wants em. I'll even replace the orange led for a blue on if you want...
