dc sport axle back help..

so finally i receive dc sports axle back and i try to install it today, and it wouldn't bolt on a LX coupe.. After couple hours of fustration, i found out that the flange was wayyy thicker than the stock flange so therefore, the bolt weren't even long enought to bolt them together.. So now.. my stock bolt's thread are damage, wut should i do guys.. I went to auto zone earlier but had no luck on getting longer bolts. So should i hit up home depot and lows home improvement, or should i just go to the dealer and ask for an Si bolt.. is the Si bolt any longer than the stock coupe? plz help.. this is my first post of needing help..

Hit up a local hardware store and get longer bolts of the type.
or
I'm sure you could take it to a local exhaust shop and have them install it. They will have the proper bolts and installing it shouldn't cost too much in labour.

Our cars are ULEV, so them suv's out there are polluting more then he is haha. The axle-back doesn't affect nothing besides sound and backpressure anyways:)

Oh yea to fix your problem, you should probably get an si exhaust flange so it will fit better. I'm not sure if the Si bolts are longer, but did you remove the springs from your lx bolts to make it fit better?

^ tried both man... the dc axle is just too thick compare to stock. from wut i heard from mikey, he has Si axle on his Lx and said that i need to put the first 1 st8 tight it and the 2nd bold should be a little slanted cuz it dont fit perfect.. ahhh.. thanks fa1

update..... after driving around, i hit up home depot, pepboys, kragen, auto parts, lowes and ended up empty handed. So i just decided to go to a muffler shop and got it done.. they had to cut the flange on the dc sport axle and weld a similar flange similar to the stock 1. i didnt make them cut the stock one so i can use it in the future or sell it.. The guy said he would charge me $35 and after I bargain, I got it for $25 for the custom flange welded and installed.. to cut thing short, they installed the muffler and found out that I messed up both stock thread and also the thread that was going in.. I had to pay extra 5 bucks for them to fix it.. and he wanted to charge me 20 each of bolt cuz it was damage. So i said no thanks and went to a honda dealer where my friend works.. and got it for 8 bucks each.. =)
