Removing hood insulation?

Don't know where to put this but I got my car back from Honda the other day because it went in for service and I noticed they had ripped the insulation under my hood. Is there any problem with just removing the insulation? I really don't want to have to fight with them because they are going to claim they did not rip it...

The insulation should have left some markings on the hood, go back and get your shiet back!! They clearly either forgot to put it back (why was it removed in the first place) or jacked your shiet on purpose.

i would be concerned considering civics have enough problems with cracking in the paint due to heat known as "crows feet"

They left the insulation on, it just has a rip in it now where they misplaced the hood prop

The EX and Si are the only 2 that I know of that have the insulation. I've had my LX for 2 years [just over 33k miles] and have had no problems.
