The extra fuses are useless. I got the Kaixen kit as well and the included ones do not fit for the low beam headlights (left and right). You will need to go to your dealership and ask for 2 of the "20" lowbeam headlight fuses.

Yea, the fuses for the lowbeam left/right is inside..... I don't remember what number they were but I know it's in the middle..
Not sure if it's the same for US models but the fuses are the mini mini ones.. It seems like stores around here have never heard of such mini mini fuses.

So that's why I had to go back to the dealer to get the special mini mini fuse for the lowbeams.
Are you having problems turning the HIDS on?

Here is the picture of the kit:
The packaging looks very classy so it seems really good from the start. After you install it, it looks good as well!

That's what I'm wondering. In any kit that I've seen, they give you a spare fuse for the relay harness, and that's it.

the thing of replacing the fuses is because the factory provides you with 10A fuses (which is not enough power), so you will need replace them to something higher, 20A. Or else you will be finding yourself replacing fuses every week.

Yea.. the HIDS uses more power so using 10A fuses will burn every week or so.. so that's why they supply you the 20A ones.. but they don't work for the 8th gen civics (uses different type of fuse instead)..
Lets see those lights!

BTW, what did you get? 6500K? 8500K?
I got the 8500K

The HIDs use more power at first when you just turn it on, but afterwards, it uses less power compare to halogen.

I assume there's no other relays connected to the ballast then? I only asked my previous question because, as I said, my relays usually have the 20A fuse built in.

There are spare fuses located in the fuse box in the engine bay. I am pretty sure there is at least 1 20a fuse in there. At lease it will save you a trip to the dealership for now.

How are those lights. I have heard reviews (not of those but other plug and play HID systems) that they use cheap ballasts and after a while they start to flicker or dont start up right away. How long have you had yours installed and are they working good? Thanks

Works fine so far. No problems. But I only had it for like a month but it's been working great.
