DIY: Black Center Front Lip--Home depot edition
Why? I wanted to picture what my car would look like if the lower lip of the bumper was painted. I didnt want to attack my car with spray paint and people are charging too much for overlays so I came up with another solution.
What you need: Black electrical tape Time: 15-20mins Install: Carefully lay each row. Line up each row perfectly and do not let it overlap. I left enough room to cut the ends as the final step. After I finished my rows I made two lines running down on each end to finish it. I cut tape that was exposed so everything looked clean. I think it turned out great for a free modification. Being so low and far from eyesight the average person will never know the difference. ![]() ![]() It's raining outside so no great shots yet. |

looks great but unfortunately its going to peel off when it gets hot enough out.. and you'll be left with the sticky rubbery glue from the tape all over ur bumper..
go to almost any hardware store n pickup black shelf paper. its sticky backed and super cheap. the only downfall is its matte black n not glossy but if u dont care about that go for it. |

^haha thanks man. once i get my car back from the body shop BC coils, SPC camber arms and front camber bolts are going on. i'm still trying to roll my rear fenders but we'll see. i'm going for the stance now that I got the proper wheels. a nice drop and some "flushness" will hopefully give it a finishing touch. i see Joseph got his first mod. emblems right? his car is already clean since it's brand new! haha
