Smile Mith or no Mith

Ok...So here is the thing.

Ill start with asking about going from Synthetic oil to Conventional oil.
Is it true this affects your engine when you use synthetic and change to conventional oil?
Mith or no mith?

Driving with your windows down, makes the engine consume more gasoline than normal?

I'm Ron Burgundy?!?!
It is a myth. Geezer posted a great link to read up on oil. Dino is not bad, but synthetic is better. There is ALOT of good reading in the oil faqs that are stickied here: All about motor oil
