DIY Custom JDM Emblems?

Just me throwing random ideas around but I was wondering if say I wanted to put on The Transformers DC5 Overlay (GrafiXpressions - Express yourself in vinyl form!...)
but I did not want to purchase the JDM emblems, is there a way to make a custom JDM emblem to put the overlay over it?

I mean I know the overlay needs a flat surface so maybe I can make a flat surface by using material to put in between/around the honda emblem so I can put the overlay over it.

It may be a stupid idea but I want to try some things out before shelling out 100 bucks for the JDM emblems.

not too sure what was your question
if you purchase fm grafixpressions
its a direct fix on aft remove the stock emblem
as they only cost 25 for both where the 100 bucks come fm?

if you're keen to diy the whole thing yourself
you've to consider the curve to match the car
unless you do it via casting

there's a diy around here with this guy making his own jdm baged that turned out alright, might help you out or give you ideas just search the diy area
