Injen CAI install question...

Ok, so I am halfway into my CAI install and am at a confusing part. I have everything dismantled and the old airbox/piping all gone. I'm to the point of installing the actual CAI pipe. Question is, HOW? The install sheet just says "Put it in." Wow, thanks geniouses! The problem is, do you install it by going down into the bumper area or from the bumper up? I have tried both and nothing seems to be working. There's always something in the way. So I try to move it and still nothing. The metal holder that holds the battery is in my way but I removed the two bolts on it and it still won't come out. Injen said remove the battery, but nothing about removing the bottom plate. So can someone who has installed this help???

I slipped it in from the bottom. What I did was turn the wheel all the way to the left and unhook the fender lining. Then I went underneath and unhook some stuff down there and that's where I slipped it in. I'm pretty sure you can slip it in from the top too. Just do your best to manuver it in there.

And yes, I also removed the battery and the battery tray.

MUST remove the bat. tray, it has two other bolts underneath that are hard to see. After tray is gone, just slip down the intake.

they are 1 inch in from both sides of the tray, you'll need a long extension to get them of.

+1 how are you going to put the filter on the intake with the bumper on?

of course the bumper came off. I actually found them and got everything in. Once I removed the battery tray, it was a breeze. Now that she's in, let me say. Wow. My beast just got herself a growl. 3-6k is amazingly deep for a 4cyl. I love it though...
