its a five step process
step 1- turn on your car
step 2- press the hazard button
step 3- press the vsa
step 4- press the horn about 100 times
step 5- rev the **** out of your engine

LOL

basically its there to regulate when you take off. 2 step is really beneficial to turbo cars to spool up the turbo but is also useful to n/a cars. The only way to really change the 2step is a EMU which is not out for our cars yet. hydra is supposed to come out with one but its a guessing game when. but newayz its also there to protect the car from some people who have no idea what they're doing and reving the car to 8000 rpm and dropping the clutch which serves no purpose because theyre just messing up the engine clutch tires and are gonna just sit in the same spot and spin which is useless when racing. around 2-3 grand is a good spot to launch at tho.

There is no 2-step on our cars.....lmfao. Its called a rev limiter. Its limited at 5500 because anymore RPMs with no load on the motor is extremely bad for the valvetrain.

Can't u add a 2 step with K pro? I have my 2 step set at 7800 on my 92 da b16. I doubt higher then 5500 would be bad on a K.

What are you 2-steping on an all motor car? lmao......

And yes, it would be bad for all of your valvetrain components to raise it further than the 5500 mark its currently set at.

Yeah, you go to a track and ask how many people are launching there cars at 8k RPMs..... Youll be standing all alone, being laughed at, and sitting next to your car with a broken axle. And no, its not a 2step that we have from factory, its a rev limiter. A proper 2 step launch control / assist is ment to preload boost on a turbo application so there is no turbo lag upon launching the car, and thus bogging you down.

And yes, i basically live at the track. I go every week considering I live only minutes away. I work for a performance shop, and race my car on a regualar basis.

Interesting. There's lots of people that do it here. I said that I believe you can add a 2 step. I didn't say anything about it coming stock. I'm not a K junkie so I'm not entirely sure whether or no going over 5500 would be bad. I was offering my .02 cents from my experience with the B.

valves float at high rpms with no load on motor, that why pistons hit valves when gears are missed when racing. Very bad.
