Trunk Light/Alarm Wiring

I've installed a trunk popper in my 2006 Civic LX Sedan, but did not integrate it with the car alarm nor use the new alarm system for anything other than the trunk release. it works fine but I need to unlock the car before I pop the trunk - otherwise the OEM alarm goes off. If I disconnect the two wire plug near the trunk release, it solves that problem, but then the trunk light doesn't work.

Is there a way to rewire that connector so that the trunk light works, but the alarm is not activated if you pop the trunk while the alarm is set? I'm just not sure which wire does what.
