DIY: Remove sag from shift boot and nut

I believe there are other threads. What this DIY shows is how remove sag from shift boot and also hide the nut. This mod will NOT COST ANYTHING except for your time
* I don't have pictures for every step

1. Loosen the nut on the shifter with a 14mm wrench.
2. Loosen the knob and take it off, then take off the nut.
3. Pop of silver cover.
Should look like this(If these intrustions are not clear enough you could look at at DIY for a SS):

4. Now that you have everthing off, take the nut and the shift boot at a vise. Compress the nut into the hole of the shift boot.

5. Do this till it is flush.

6. Now keep the nut on the shift boot. Put the boot back on and twist it on since the nut has to go on. Tighten this by hand as tight as your can. Then put the knob back on.
7. Finished product!

Thanks for looking!
