Help on Installing a HU on a 06 LX Sedan

Hello All,

I have read all the threads pertaining to changing out the HU. I have to say wow great pics and info. From my understanding is that the majority is for models that have an amp (EX SI/premium sound stereo). Ok here is what I have 06 LX sedan stock HU non-premium version. Planning to put in a Single din Radio,
o Kenwood X891 currently in my other car
o As well 4 Infinity 622s speakers.
I understand that I need the dash kit & antenna harness. Since I have the LX model I don’t need the amp by pass. Where I am confused is on the radio harness and RCA attachments? I have been reading that I need to add RCA jacks for speakers. But doesn’t the harness wire support the 4 speaker system? Also I read that we shouldn’t use the Honda speaker wiring to the doors and to the rear. I should instead run it straight from the HU. Why is that? I know that the Metra is better than the Scosche for Radio harness (due to the wiring swap blowing fuses). One last question I also read some issues with some antenna harness which one should I go with?
Sorry for the lengthy question but I just want to cover all my bases. I appreciate any assistance.

Thanks

I used the speaker wires in the harness when I put an aftermarket HU in my 08 LX and it works fine.

So you used a
Dash kit, Radio harness & antenna harness that's it? Does it matter what antenna harness I use?

Thanks
