Question Short Shifters? HELP!

What up *8th civic people!
I just wanted to know what would be the best and the shortest, short shifter available for our fg2?

I was wondering if they sell the "MUGEN RR" short shifter?
If yes, where would i be able to buy it?

there is no such thing as a mugen rr short shifter... there is a mugen quickshift that does not work with a short shifter.

All short shifters do the same thing, it's just owners preference.

Use the short button or look at our Vendors. CorSport is usually my store to get my parts, fast shipping, low price.

Use the SEARCH button. There is a ton of SS that all do the same thing and are technically the same: CT-engineering, neuspeed, strut king, corsport,TWM, P2R, skunk2, and the Honda Mugen si quick shifter.

Many people swear by certian brands... I went with TWM and haven't had a problem with them... Where as someone else could buy the same thing and have an issue =) our cars are very finiky... think of them as a high mx woman.

I recommend TWM Performance. Ask for Frank. Great pre and post-sale service. Great product. Buy the complete kit including M1 Abram knob.

TWM all the way. Fantastic customer service and they have promotions every once in a while. If you're based in Canada there's no other alternative but TWM - you'll get your kit delivered to you lightning fast.

some of them will put on the cap and grease it for you, if your lazy and clumbsy like me. Remember if your break it you have to wait for another one to come, however I have never heard of anyone breaking the cap.

The pivot cup.. I'll be needing one as a back up soon. Is it OEM?

Not oem but works the same. If you want oem you have to buy the shifter assembly. They don't just sell the cup.

If you can get your hand on a Mugen quick shifter, I'd recommend getting that. Been using that for almost a year with no problems and now that I've put the type R knob on it, shifting feels so much better.

You know nothing. I personally installed a TWM short shifter on a Mugen Si. Its a close fit but it does indeed fit. The throw is even shorter now, its ridiculous.

If you have some coin to spare, i'd recommend going for a Mugen shifter.
I've had a corsport SS on my Si for about 2 years now (36K miles) and I love it.
