short shiffter help
i've been trying to remove my short shifter. but i can't get the blue cap off. the body of the shortshifter is to fat to use the wrench trick. did anyone else have this problem. i'm afraid i'm gonna break the damn thing.

Use that wrench method. Hold the wrench closer to the blue cap to avoid damaging the clutch. You should take off the whole bottom cover. Not only does it make it easier, you don't have to worry about dropping the poor suckers into the frame.
Oh by the way, there have already been threads on this topic before... I believe the other senior members will get cranky at you... hope I helped.
