you can mount a video aswell...... they have the same mounting hole.
besides, if you dont have a video c....... most cameras can take video now. incase your stuck in the 1900's....

i did the same thing. works fine that way. i guess with the mount, you can be dead center though.....

All point and shoots take Video, my D90(dslr) takes video too. Mounting holes are universal on all cameras. (otherwise you'd have a billion tripod options)

Good! The only thing that is missing with this setup is tilt. I'll make one that you can tilt. I'll post some pix soon.

You can also make it into a 'steady' cam mount fairly easy. (the pvc tubing)

Can a D60 take video? I just got mine for Xmas and anyway I can view what the camera is looking at by looking at the LCD screen instead of looking thru peep hole lol
