unplug your battery ground (black), step on your brake pedal for 30sec.

that'll discharge all capacitors. then do your mod. should be ok.

I have a tinted window but still want one becuase there is a company (Gentex I think) that makes one with Homelink which my wife has and it is alot better than having to dig for the garage door opener when pulling up to the house.

Did you get this done yet?

I have instructions if you need them with pics.Your new mirror should come with a new clip for the A pillar molding.

Simple DIY

Yes I finally get it installed, and it works perfect. I had no trouble to remove the cover from the A pillard.

I know this is an old thread, and this may be the instructions you've already seen, but I used the instructions from hondapartsdeals.com on my install. It's pretty much idiot proof I think.... but I didn't actually do the work myself, paid a local shop $35 to get it done (they used these instructions) I know I know, but I'm lazy so I didn't want to mess with it. This is for the coupe, but they also have instructions for the sedan. http://www.hondapartsdeals.com/honda...ght_mirror.pdf
