How to change fuel cap?

does any one know how to do this?

Take the old on off, screw the new one in.

You take it off and put it back on everytime you put gas in your car.

Just playing. The "cord" is held the the door hinge with a regular clip. Use needle nose pliers to squeeze the sides from the back and pop it right out.

oh ok, i was thinking ur gonna get one of those key ones, but that would be useless cuz the gas doors are locked

actually no i have not yet. just got the car. only 16 yr old. i am just beginning to learn about how the parts are held together and etc

i mean its your car so do what ever you want, but wouldn't doing something to the door covering it make more sense.

not sure how it works but doesnt it throw a CEL if your gas cap is not on correctly...

yes, yes it does. i forgot to put the f-ing thing on once. CEL went on stopped the car, and though, oh ****, then saw the gas cap and went
