interior led light question

i have some blue led lights for my dome and map lights but the problem is when i shut the door the lights never shut off! they dim but you can tell it is still on (and the switch is to door, not on) do i have to change a fuse or something to get them to all shut off? or can i just leave them lightly dim and not have to worry bout my battery eventually draining?? any help would be awesome. thanks

this makes no sense...the tuype lights shouldnt have anything to do with them staying on, its the cars electronics that control the dimming of the cars lights...this is weird though

Yeah same problem here. Did you ever resolve this? Car is off, light switch is set to "door" on the map & dome light. even when i sit in it and press the lock on my fob the light stays on and never goes out.

lol this is weird... I'm sure someone that knows how the circuitry of the lights works would be able to come up with a explanation...

hmm... LED lights on a dim setting eat up hardly any electricity. if you use that car as a DD, i wouldnt worry about it excessively

yea i know that led waste lil electricity but i wouldnt want my battery not lasting as long as it should simply because of some interior lights. one of my friends told me to switch out the fuses and maybe that would help but i have yet to try it out.

here's the best i could get of trying to explain this in photos.

This is what it looks like when the car is OFF (no Key inserted anywhere) NOTE: the LED is not as bright as it may look in the photos

Here is the map light with one not pressed, and the other one pressed (on)

Here is a photo of both map lights on

i have noticed though that if you leave one set (whether it be the dome or map lights) oem and the other led they will shut off completely. but if all four leds are in they wont shut off they stay dim.
