DIY: Fog Light lenses, plastic and glass

ok lets bigin... these are made from 1/8th inch plastic, although i'd preffer to use 1/4, some think its over kill, and un nessasary, i have bolth, we;ll all the way up to one inch thick... anyway...

this is the trace i took off my stock ones, cov3red in my taking apart and cleaning/ resealing foglights DIY...( fog no more... fixing fog light condensation )

cover your plastic in masking tape to protect it... and mark the patern off...

I happen to have a tabe saw, so i used that to cut them to side, it took about 3min. per lense...

*CUT*

then you need to sand them so there isnt sny marker left...

DONE!!!, that was easy...

Now to try it with glass..., clean the glass with some glass cleaner and brake clean...

but first... LOOK NO CUTS YET...

now clean it with ass cleaner, i mena glass cleaner...

mark off the pattern with a shapie

when cutting clss you need to use cutting out.... this ke3eps the blade lubed... basicly it keeps the score line clean keeps the blade from hitting dirt/dust and jumping...

and!!!

DISASTER!!!, the blade was a dud, so i moved the tip to blade?2(it has 5 posable...)

i tried on a few more pieced, but the glass was too thin..., so on the weekend i will do it with a thicker piece...

for now...

the flat glass like that we are working with might not work as well as the curved glass that you have on your fogs
