How do i remove a baffel from an 07 si coupe exhaust

anyone know how to do this and is it easy?

inside the exhaust theres that like metal insert and i wanna take it out to make the exhaust opening bigger.

Yes, Aftermarket exhausts have Silencers that look like that black baffel that can be removed. I have not seen a stock Si with this removed

I don't think it is possible on stock exhaust systems. Only aftermarket have the option to remove the silencer. If you saw it before on Civics, they must have ripped it out. I really have no clue.

buy the hfp axleback and be done with it, its barely any louder, and it has the black removed seeing as how the exit is much bigger

I've actually seen this done tonight and was searching on the forums how to do it myself. Cruising the CBD in New Orleans and ran up behind another Si and noticed it right away. his was much louder than mine as well (well, not THAT much louder but could tell) but he also told me he had an Injen CAI and that the intake is mostly what was heard.

... but the silencer was definitely off, regardless of whether or not that's what made it sound better or if it was the intake.

s2000 exhaust tips are oval like ours but without the black part inside it.
but that wouldn't make it louder.
