Tips for how to apply Shin-Etsu grease to gaskets?

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for application of the grease (Honda part # 08798-9013) to the door and trunk gaskets. What do you use as an applicator? How much should be worked into the gaskets? etc.

Thanks!

although im not really sure but i would probably just spread it around with my finger. I do remember reading or hearing that it takes a lil and goes a long way so just use small amounts, if what u have is what im thinking of.

well the stuff says not to let it touch skin for prolonged period of time or repeatedly. i'm gonna try using an old rag to wipe the rubber gaskets with it.
